Brittany Danielle Diiorio is a dancer who, after completing her studies at Hickory High School and at the Governor’s School for the Arts, moved to Virginia Beach, where she enrolled at Denise Wall’s Dance Energy Ltd. She was also a student of the Shenandoah University Conservatory for the Arts, where she was a musical theater major for two years, but eventually shifted into dancing. Her dancing career started when she was only three years old and she spent most of her young life competing in various competitions around the nation. Before she tried out for the first season of Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, Diiorio spent most of her time working as the assistant manager of Peabody’s nightclub.
She auditioned for the show due to the encouragement of one of her closest friends. During the auditions, Diiorio and several other girls came down with a terrible virus, but she tried her best to show off her moves to the judges, despite being unwell. Fortunately, she was selected to become one of the nine finalists vying for a spot on the hot musical group. For the first challenge, the girls were split into three groups and were each tasked perform a different Pussycat Doll songs. Diiorio was the first to be eliminated from the show because the judges felt she was overly sexual.
