Born on October 12, 1977 in Easton, New Hampshire, Bode Miller is a champion alpine ski racer, who won his second overall World Cup title in four years in 2008 after winning it in 2005.the win had the US team sweeping the men’s and women’s overall World Cup titles for the first time in 25 years. In 2005, she became the first American in 22 years to win the overall title, on top of becoming only the fifth man to win World Cup races in all five disciplines, including slalom, giant slalom, Super-G, downhill, and combined. He is touted as the most successful American alpine skier with 31 World Cup wins.
Miller is also a four-time World Champion in four different disciplines and has a pair of silver medals from the 2002 Winter Games.
