British actress Anna Walton started her acting career in the mid-1990s, while she was still a student at the Oxford School of Drama in Oxfordshire. During that time, she appeared in several stage productions, including The Country Wife, Picnic and A Collier’s Friday Night. She quickly moved to television, first starring in the one-off drama Bright Hair, and later, in the medical mini-series Out of Hours. It was followed by stints in other British television shows such as The Fast Show.
Walton made her film debut in 2007 with Vampire Diary, a fantasy drama about a do!$#!#entary filmmaker who starts a relationship with a vampire (Morven Macbeth). Walton, who played the lead, won the Best Actress award from the Milan International Film Festival the following year. Her next major film was Hellboy II: The Golden Army, where she played Princess Nuala, the elf princess of the underworld who forms a relationship with Abe Sapien (Doug Jones). She is set to reunite wither her Hellboy co-star Ron Perlman in the adventure film The Mutant Chronicles. She is also set to play the role of Susannah Crusoe in the television series Crusoe.
