Allison Munn on What I Like About You
Allison Munn was born on October 7, 1974 in Columbia, South Carolina. Taking dance and voice lessons at an early age, she was helped along by her mother, an elementary school teacher. After she graduated from the College of Charleston, she moved to New York and won a role in the Broadway production The Fantastiks. Alison Munn has also worked on the sitcoms That 70’s Show
and What I Like About You, as well as landing roles in the films Elizabethtown and White Oleander. She also supports the nonprofit organization Rock the Vote, which encourages young people to vote during elections.
Tina Haven is portrayed by Allison Munn in the WB sitcom What I Like About You. She has a reputation for sleeping around quite a bit, though she keeps insisting she’s “not a slut!” She and Holly eventually become good friends after a rocky start, though the friendship is damaged for a time after Tina sleeps with Holly’s boyfriend Vince. Later on Tina dates Officer Rubin from the NYPD, though she eventually winds up with Gary at the end, much to their mutual surprise.
