Working as a designer for TrashBiscuit, the St. Louis native A.J. Theouvenot decided to try his luck on reality television. He became one of the contestants of Project Runway season 8, competing against fellow designers for the grand prize. He was unfortunately eliminated on the fifth episode when he failed to bring his fun style to his work. Since his stint on the series, he has returned to his job with the independent fashion label.
