The viewers have finally made up their minds. After 6 eliminations, Grease You’re the One That I Want revealed its winners, Max Crumm and Laura Osnes. The winners of the show were unveiled Sunday during its final episode.

Grease: You’re the One That I Want is a reality series on NBC that showcases contestants and their attempt to land the lead roles of Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko in the Broadway revival of the musical Grease, which will begin in June of 2007. The said production will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winning Kathleen Marshall. Grease: You’re the One That I Want, which premiered on January 7, 2007, started with 60 aspirants. Eventually, the hopefuls were narrowed down to 12 contestants, six women and six men. Every week, the contestants are tasked to perform songs from “Grease,” as well as other musicals to determine who will remain and who gets eliminated.

Grease You're the one That I Want enters the most crucial phase of its existence tonight as the final twelve begin live performances judged real-time by the at home audience.  The hope is, this shift in format and raising of the stakes will bring Grease a little of the 'Idol' effect.  However, with the Grammys starting in its second hour, Grease has an up hill battle ahead of it.

Olivia Newton-John will be appear as a guest judge on the first live, two-hour episode of Grease: You're the One that I Want. Olivia Newton-John, of course, was the original Sandy in the Grease movie. An international star, Olivia's appearance on Grease: You're the One that I Want will be sure to invigorate viewers.

Grease: You're the One that I Want is NBC's newest reality show that is looking to cast the lead roles of Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko for a new Broadway production of "Grease" opening in June 2007. Based on the BBC show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? that cast the lead role for a stage production of The Sound of Music, Grease: You're the One that I Want brings Broadway to televisions around the country.
