Funny, never watched The Unit when it was a regular weekly show. Not sure I even knew about it. Caught it by accident about 8 months ago on Universal HD. Have been a fan since. Can't get enough. Check listings constantly for up coming air dates. Have since found out, the show ran for 3-4 years. Must've been many episodes filmed. I seem to find the same shows, showed over & over again. What's with that? I'm a huge fan of "Jason Borne," "007" & "mission Impossible" films & books. Love great War movies, where there's a specific "mission" as the plot. IE: Eagle Has Landed. The new series on Cinemax; Strikeback has turned out to be entertaining. Out of all of the above, the Unit is a show I can't stop thinking about, or wait to watch. Something realistic about it. Good action w plausible outcomes. Now w Seal Team Six in the headlines, you can't help but wonder how the writers & creators of the Unit got the "professional consultants," necessary to produce such realism.
