why do they make us wait so long between seasons?

I hate having to wait for the new seasons.All the other shows on tv already be up and running and we have to wait and wait to the point of almost losing interest

I dont think we will lose interest, but waiting 8 months for the new season sucks, at least FX could do some reruns to get us thru

Typically they need time to you know film it. If that makes sense. and who supposedly gets killed off?
