That's the question, what are your thoughts on the season finale, what do you think will happen on season 4. To me, seaon 3 finale was amazing. Got me thinking about way too many things to write them all down here... please post your thoughts about this subject so we can talk.

Me I agree it was amazing, but a I worry that allot of these girls who are Josh/Peter crazy will stop watching the show if theres not allot of him in it next season, and in doing so will tank the show, for all of us who watch it for the show and not JUST because of and actor or actress,I know allot of them are saying they wont watch it if he isn't in it, or if he is in some EP's but not all they will only watch those with him in it,which proves they aren't watching it for the story, but for him only,do you think that this will be a real problem? or am I just over worrying about a bunch little fan girls, who may not even affect the show ether way, I know I have heard some people want watch it BECAUSE Josh is in it, because they didn't like Dawsons Creak, like that has anything to do with how he would do in this show, which I some times wonder if that has affected the show too like with the ratings you know, that maybe people aren't watching as much as they would because he Pacy is in it,lol!

We had an amazing end of season because we really can’t anticipate any of what will follow. At this point everything is possible, but there is one thing I am sure of: Peter will show up in the next season although I don’t know how.

Well, producers say Joshua Jackson is still under contract, so I guess he will be back as usual. Peter is the link between both universes, so I don't think they'll delete him just like that.

In my opinion, Fringe is not a show about one person or one character only. I think it is about each and all of them together – this is what makes it so great. And what is making it really amazing is the approach to human being itself and human relations – constantly surprising, as the end of this season is also. And if it made you think about a lot of things, MrD, why not post them here? I think a lot of us would be interested in what you have to say. Anyway, thank you for starting this discussion, it is a great idea.

The final scenes shocked me in some way; I mean in a good way. I was completely focused on watching those last moments, and then Peter just disappears... and to me it was like, "wtf! where did he go?!?" and I was like looking around the room :P Then the Observers saying he served his purpose... what purpose would that be? And more intriguing, one of them said, "they don't remember Peter". And that scene with both Olivias and both Walters on the same room, wow... Also, the idea of the First People being themselves but from the future, adds even more to the puzzle. And one final question for you my friends: do you think the future we see on this episode is the only future for the story and the characters, or is it just one of many possible futures? Peter attempts to get both Olivias and Walters together to fix things, but nobody knows if it'll work, maybe it's too late...

Hello, again! I think I should name this post ...borders, limits, or limitations. I was watching again the last 2 episodes of the last season, to remember, and all I can say now is that this show is pure philosophy. I loved the last episode not only for its surprising end but also for what I saw in it - bringing all of them together and making every and each of them to face and really see their own limits in each other. Of course they hate each other because, let us face it, who would love seeing his/hers own limits...not to mention seeing literally in front of him/her?To go even further I wonder what exactly Walter or Olivia hate in Walternate or ”the other” Olivia....the fact that they have something in common or what they have in common (if we look beyond what they did to each other). For some reason, seeing them together made me wonder, again, what if Walter saw in Walternate a person he could turn into, only by breaking some limits?

"I wonder what exactly Walter or Olivia hate in Walternate or 'the other' Olivia..." Good question. And to reply to your last question, yes, I think Walter saw in Walternate the person he could turn into by breaking some limits; no doubt about that.

Watching the second ep from the show I have come to the conclusion that Olivia hate in „the other one” not only the posibility of becoming her but also the fact that the other one seems to have overcome some of her own fears and perhaps - I know it sounds a little bit like a paradox - the fact that she realized this is something really hard for her to achieve. Shortly „the other one” has something she wants but she is not able to have without ...breaking some limits; and she can not do that because...she would not be herself, would she? I hope it make some sense...

Mea culpa...in my enthusiasm about the show I did not realize that there are some of us who have not seen the new season yet, therefore I do appologize.
