Child actor Paul Butcher was born in Los Angeles, California on February 14, 1994. He is the son of Paul Butcher Sr., a former linebacker for the NFL. Paul started acting when he was seven years old, appearing in a minor role in the Fox sitcom The Bernie Mac Show. He counts jelly doughnuts and Big Mac among his favorite foods. He is now known as child prodigy Dustin Brooks in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101.

Dustin Brooks is Zoey's little brother. As a child genius, he gets to share an eighth-grade Algebra class with her at the Pacific Coast Academy. He shares his love for science with Quinn Pensky, his big sister's roommate, who often use little Dustin as a guinea pig for her experiments.
