CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Summerland and
Close to Home. His film credits include
Sleepover and
Freedom Writers, starring alongside two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank.
Silas Botwin is played by Hunter Parrish on Showtime's dark comedy series
Weeds. Silas is the eldest son of
Nancy, and he was forced to become the man of the house at an early age because of his father's untimely death. His grief over the incident and his natural adolescent insecurities has an adverse effect on his social and family life.
