As if VH1 hadn't made an impact on our reality TV viewing pleasure, they recently came up with another diversified reality competition titled Viva Hollywood. This brand new spanking series puts the spotlight on a sizzling hot group of aspiring Latino actors who dream big and believe that they have what it takes to become the next big telenovela star.

Read on to meet the 12 lucky contenders who are now a step closer to winning the coveted prize of a contract with Telemundo, the largest selling telenovela production company in America.

On the debut season of Viva Hollywood, we're going to meet a diverse set of individuals who have the passion for the arts, and competitive streak that will take them to new heights.

Gisel Saumat

Gisel is 25 years old and hails from Miami Florida, where she works as a hostess. A marathon enthusiast, this girl has more than just a pretty head on her shoulders. In fact, she aspires to write and produce films in the future.

Jainmy Martinez

Jainmy is a 30-year-old plus-size model from New Jersey, where she is single-handedly raising her nine-year-old daughter.

Janet Michel

Janet is a 28-year-old talk show host from Los Angeles, California. She aspires to be a telenovela star like her mother.

Jenn Pinto

Jenn is a 21-year-old dance instructor from Bronx, New York and is part of an improv comedy troupe.

Roseny Carrero

Roseny is 23 years old and originally hails from Colorado, where she has done modeling for print ads and runway shows. She moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career.

Silvia Tovar

Silvia is a 24-year-old acting student from New York. She grew up in Colombia and is now adjusting to her new look after successfully losing 40 pounds.

Vinci Alonso

Vinci is a 26-year-old model from Miami, Florida. An aspiring actor, he enjoys playing the villain and admits that he is quite good at it.

Alexcy Aranguren

A 32-year-old from Orange County, California, Alexy works as a real-estate broker while trying to break into the entertainment business. His first stint will be on VH1's Viva Hollywood.

Berto Colon

A 31-year-old from New Jersey, Berto is a bar manager in New York City, but originally hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Enrique Sapene

A native of Venezuela, Enrique is a 28-year-old aspiring actor who moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. He is also interested in production.

Geovannie Gomez

Geovannie is 24 years old and hails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a law student whose real passion is acting. He has also been practicing martial arts since he was a young boy.

Kalain Santos

Kalain is a 24-year-old model from Miami, Florida, and is a native of Puerto Rico. He is currently taking up lessons to improve his English.
