Cast and crew were on hand at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 to reveal some spoilers for Under the Dome
season 2. Have you been wondering why the death toll has been so low this season? Wonder if we'll find out who Angie's killer is? Curious if anyone will ever get out from under the dome?
All that and more was revealed during the Under the Dome panel. Keep reading for spoilers.
No One is Safe
"No one is safe under the dome," says Executive Producer Neal Baer. It's been a slow start in terms of the death toll for Under the Dome season 2 but that will change and they "rev it up." If you're keeping track, there were 16 deaths in season 1.
Alexander Koch noted that "You never know when someone's going to go and you never know when they'll come around again." The actor went on to say that it's tough saying good-be and having worked so closely with Britt Robertson, he misses her.
We will not only find out what's in the locker, but also who killed her. Koch promises that "revenge might be taken."
On the Characters
Does nice Big Jim make you nervous? No worries, he'll be getting mean soon. But don't expect Big Jim and Junior to get along. Dean Norris added "the difficulty of trying to raise a psychopath." And Rachelle Lefevre added, "That's the pot calling the kettle psychopath."
Koch believes his character is a person who craves love, affection and approval. Angie's death was a way Junior was reprimanded for his actions. There is more misfortune ahead in season 2.
Colin Ford said Joe is growing into a man and looking at Barbie as a role model. He really wants to know who killed his sister.
Mike Vogel said that w're seeing what makes Barbie tick but he's here to defend the defenseless.
In episode 8 we'll see a digital character working out of HoundsofDiana.com. It will try to communicate with Joe.
What's Ahead for Season 2
- Other family secrets will be revealed.
- There are reasons behind Sam's actions and motivations. Baer adds, "he's not just a crazy psychopath..."
- We'll get to meet Barbie's dad and find out that he could have been a trust fund baby.
- Neal Baer teases that they know the ending but "won't tell" since they just finished production.
- He also said that one of the characters might get out of the dome! Vogel added, "literally" so it sounds like this will happen.
Do you have any guesses on who will get out of the dome?
