What to Expect for the Final 'Ugly Betty' Episodes
Even though the cancellation of Ugly Betty hit us like an oncoming train carrying tons of bricks, we'll just have to accept it.  We may have gone through the five stages of grief, plus ice cream, so here we go.  Let's look at what insiders have to say about the final episodes of the ABC comedy.

As we expected, there are major storylines that need to be wrapped up for the series.  E! Online points out what they are, and even spills the beans on what the ending will be.

Possible spoilers below!

According to sources from behind the Ugly Betty scenes, there's going to be a wedding. We've reported on this earlier, but apparently it looks like the bride just won't be our beloved brace-faced heroine.

Betty (America Ferrera) may already have her pick of suitors to end up with and yet the story's still not finalized as of now.  The writers are definitely considering a sort of "I choose me" finale in which our protagonist gets a new job somewhere else.  What's more, she might even meet someone new.

While we can't help but raise our eyebrows at that, we have to remember that Betty has always prided herself in her independence.  She's bound to encounter so much more once she leaves the confines of Mode, which leaves the story rather open-ended.  Frankly, that could really work.

But for the fans rallying behind the bandwagon of the original series' pairing, a source has revealed: "They probably aren't going to have Betty end up with Daniel.  Some key people do not want that to happen."

Despite that tragic (if you're a Daniel/Betty fan) news, there is still a lot to look forward to for the so-called happy finale.  As we thought, the braces will be taken off.  Also, Justin (Mark Indelicato) will even kiss a boy.  And Amanda (Becki Newton) will be getting something more in the romance department too.

That's bound to make a satisfying ending for Ugly Betty, even though we're still not too pleased about the show's cancellation.  Okay, we can't accept it.  But we really are hoping they pull off an appropriate finale with all this.
