Broadcast on ABC, Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, a young Latina who lands a job as a personal assistant to Editor-in-chief Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius) at MODE magazine. Despite sorely lacking in confidence and social skills, she is smart, hardworking and is determined to thrive in the cut-throat world of high fashion.  Also featured on the series are Rebecca Romijn as Alexis Meade, Vanessa L. Williams as Wilhelmina Slater, Becki Newton as Amanda Tanen, Ana Ortiz as Hilda Suarez, Alan Dale as Bradford Meade, and Michael Urie Marc St. James, just to name a few.

In “Bananas for Betty,” White will play herself in a plot that finds Wilhelmina trying to change her image as the “queen of mean.”  However, things go awry when she shoves an older woman, none other than Betty White, in an effort to take the lady's cab away from her.

Best known for her role on The Golden Girls, White played Rose Nylund, the naïve, simple and arguably the most kind-hearted character on the long-running sitcom.  She also starred in its spin-off The Golden Palace and frequently guest starred on a number of television shows like Ally McBeal, That ‘70s Show, and Malcolm in the Middle.  Recently, she was cast on Boston Legal where she played Catherine Piper for 15 episodes and was featured on The Bold and the Beautiful as Ann Douglas.  At present, she is working on the romantic drama film, Love N' Dancing.
