Bits and Pieces on the 'Ugly Betty' Finale
Bits and Pieces on the 'Ugly Betty' Finale
There's been lots of talk surrounding the dreaded end of the ABC comedy Ugly Betty, but we're sure we won't be getting an ugly finale when the day comes.  From the numerous rumors to confirmed storyline wrap-ups, we've got something to be excited about.

Though we're pretty much over the fact that Ugly Betty is nearing its conclusion, it's still worth getting the shivers about spoilers.  But if you'd rather not read any, look away now.

Possible spoilers below!

So we know about the Hilda and Bobby's wedding, but we've always wondered what lies for Betty's (America Ferrera) fate in romance.  We speculated that former flame Henry Grubstick and the rest of her exes would return.  Some continue to hope that she'd finally choose Daniel.  Still, there are others who even believe that she'd pick none of them in the end.

But really, what's the story?  According to Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online, the last option seems more likely.  They asked actor Christopher Gorham about Henry's possible return to Ugly Betty, and he seemed defeated when he replied negatively.

"I always thought that [Betty and Henry] were meant to be together," Gorham said.  "But it's out of my hands."  Sounds like there really is no hope for a reunion for these two.  Does that mean our heroine will end up with Daniel (Eric Mabius) as many believe and wish for?

Not quite.  The writers are really pushing for a Betty-is-her-own-woman type of finale, with the protagonist going solo and leaving for a "far off land."  Well, we pretty much expected that.  None of her relationships has really worked out for her, so maybe she'll have better luck somewhere else.

But back home, it looks like others are finding their own loves.  Before Hilda weds Bobby, she'll be getting her bridal shower in London.  Joining her on a drunken spree are Betty and Christina, which would really make for a fun night.

Another Ugly Betty character getting lucky on the finale is Justin, who will supposedly kiss a boy.  We're not sure how that will work out, but it's definitely something to be excited about.  It's like he's addressing his sexuality on the show somewhat.

I'm actually more interested in what happens to Amanda (Becki Newton) and Marc (Michael Urie), and maybe how they'll deal with Betty leaving.  Even Wilhelmina will miss her, wouldn't she?

We'll just have to see once the Ugly Betty finale kicks off in a few weeks.  Until then, we're content with these bit spoilers that keep popping up.
