True Blood season 6 begins in less than a week. Are you anxiously awaiting the premiere? To quench your Tru-Blood thirst for teasers, HBO has released a new trailer. Humans are fighting back in a way they never have before. And, Bill is a new creature after his bloody resurrection. Is he a vampire? A man? A god? Something else?

True Blood is available on Amazon Prime.

Highlights from the trailer:

  • Humans are fighting back!
  • "The world is changing and we have to change with it." -- Eric
  • "Y'all come in here and say that you love me and you want me. I'm not yours or anybody's." -- Sookie
  • "How are you doing this?" -- Sookie
"I play by a different set of rules now." -- Bill
  • Jason faces off with Warlow, the vampire who killed his parents. "Prepare to meet your maker, Warlow."
  • "It's us against them. What's it gonna take to make you understand?" -- Pam
  • Jessica appears to be in bad shape, "What if we don't deserve to survive?"
  • "We have nothing to negotiate with. We have nothiing to fight it with." -- Eric
  • "What is it about me that you want?" -- Sookie
The situation between Humans and Vampires is dire after the Tru-Blood plants were destroyed. How many lives will be lost among the living and the dead? Bill's transformation is the creepiest aspect, especially given his continued interest in Sookie.

Will True Blood season 6 bring the action back?

True Blood airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on HBO.
