Thirty-year-old
Zoi was born in Seattle, Washington. Her knowledge and techniques in cooking are all self-taught. Her interest for the cuisine started when she was 19. Zoi's experiences include working with some of the famous chefs from the West Coast. Her extensive travels throughout Europe contributed much to her tastes and preferences. Zoi is confident of her simple and rustic methods in cooking, believing they reflect the influences of Greece and Italy on her. She stresses on the importance of using local, seasonal ingredients as much as possible. The roasted baby California lamb with artichokes, spring onions, lemon and rosemary is her favorite simple spring recipe. Zoi currently resides in San Francisco, California where she doubles as a chef and restaurant consultant.
