Gail Simmons has been with Food & Wine Magazine since 2004. She works on the epicurean magazine's chef related events and programs. Previously, she began her career in writing food articles for Toronto Life magazine and National Post. She has also contributed to several cookbooks including Must've Been Something I Ate by Jeffrey Steingarten, Daniel Boulud Cooking in New York City, and The New American Chef by Karen Page & Andrew Dornenburg.

At present, she is one of the judges and critics for the reality show Top Chef, where she lends her strong culinary expertise.
