Top Chef will officially begin its 21-city tour in New York on Friday, March 27 at the Flatiron Pedestrian Plaza. The announcement was made by Bravo yesterday, along with the exciting festivities in store for the city stops.
During the event launching in New York City, three finalists will compete in the first-ever Quaker Oats Viewer Quickfire Challenge where they will prepare an original dish featuring Quaker Oats. Dishes will be judged by

Top Chef taping.
The tour, which allows fans and affiliate partners nationwide to interact, will feature a brand new state-of-the-art customized traveling 18-wheeler semi-truck, with an expansive space to accommodate more fans for each on-site demonstration.

Moreover, the
Top Chef truck will be making a special stop at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby weekend where it will be part of Bravo's special featuring the food, fashion and celebrity experience associated with Kentucky Oaks.
