The Young and the Restless: November 28 Live Thoughts
It's the day of the hearing to determine Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) fate.  JT (Thad Luckinbill), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are getting ready for the hearing in Victoria's hospital room.  Nick isn't planning on going to the hearing, though, which makes JT think that he doesn't want to fight to save his sister's life.  Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) and Brad (Don Diamont) are on their way to the hearing as well.  At the Newman offices, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) coaches Victor (Eric Braeden) one last time on how to behave at the hearing.  Victor instructs Neil (Kristoff St. John) to stay at the office and keep Newman running smoothly.

Jill (Jess Walton) finds Cane (Daniel Goddard) is up to his ears in paperwork.  He gives Neil a call to talk about who is going to cover the clean up costs at Clear Springs.

Gloria (Judith Chapman) can't wait to get her hands on the letter that she thinks John wrote to her from prison.  (John's cellmate's son told her about it on yesterday's episode of The Young and the Restless.)  Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) calls her to set up a date.  Gloria primps for her date while Kevin (Greg Rikaart) scolds her for not staying away from Jeffrey.  Haven't we seen this conversation about a billion times before?  Jill comes in with her new business plan for Jabot.  She wants to use the Internet to hold a contest to look for normal women of all ages to become spokesmodels for Jabot.  Jill comes up with a tagline: "Faces of Jabot, the beauty is you."

Cane tracks Neil down at Newman and pesters him to get going on paying up for the clean up at Clear Springs.  Neil hedges that they don't want to do anything until all the final reports come back from the assessors.

The hearing is about to get started.  Nikki fumbles with some medication that she takes without any water.  She starts choking and coughing, so Michael rushes to get her some water.  Phyllis gets a call from Nick with news about Victoria.  He reports that the protein levels in her urine have gone up, and the doctors are monitoring her closely for kidney failure.

The hearing starts with a testimony from Dr. Webb.  Hey, the judge presiding is the same dude who presided over Phyllis' extortion trial.

Lily (Christel Khalil) finds Neil in mid-hissy fit about the run-in he had with Cane.  She found a PDA near the elevator and asks if it belongs to Neil, but it doesn't.

At the hearing, Michael questions Victor.  Then Nikki's lawyer questions him.  He asks him if he would do anything to save his children, and after much badgering, Victor admits that he would.

Gloria is hatching another evil plan.  William wrote to Jeffrey in his letter, "Don't let her get away with it," so Gloria thinks that if she pins the tainted facecream on Jill, Gloria can get away scot-free.

During the recess, Victor bitches Nikki out for allowing her attorney to question him like that.

Jeffrey arrives at Gloria's office to take her out to dinner.  Kevin barges in to faux-complain about what a witch Jill is to work for.

Nikki's turn to go on the stand.  Michael asks her if she talked to Victoria about what she would do to save her baby, meaning that her entire testimony is based purely on speculation.  She has to admit that she doesn't have any proof of knowing what Victoria's wishes would be.

Lily finds out that the PDA she found belongs to Cane, so she goes over to Chancellor to return it.  She actually does a pretty good job at flirting with him this time.  Cane wants to have a cup of coffee with her, but he's so tied up with work that he suggest some other time.

Naturally, neither Gloria nor Jeffrey are very adventurous in their restaurant choices, so we find them having dinner at the GCAC.  Gloria wastes no time in bad-mouthing Jill and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper), especially Jill, and suggests obliquely that Jill would go to any lengths to bring down her mother.

Brad goes up to the stand at the courthouse.  Michael questions him about his conflicted interest, especially concerning his feelings toward the fetus and toward JT.  The judge calls a short recess so that he can look at some case law before rendering his decision.

At the hospital, Nick holds Victoria's hand when the machines start to beep.  Nurses come rushing in to attend to her.

Jill thanks Lily for being the catalyst for her new Jabot marketing idea and suggests that she enter the contest.

Nick tells Phyllis that Victoria's blood pressure is fluctuating, but it's down now, and her kidneys exhibit no change.

Jill doesn't want to get in another PR nightmare with her new marketing campaign, so she won't let anyone who has any association with Jabot to enter.

Gloria thinks that her date with Jeffrey went smashingly.  Jill goes to the GCAC where Jeffrey asks her what she thinks about Gloria.  Jill warns him not to trust her.

Right before the judge is about to issue his ruling, Brad rushes in with a letter that he claims will prove that Victoria would want to save her baby.

Next on The Young and the Restless: Jack wants to finish Victor off while she still can, Michael argues that Victor should be allowed to speak, Brad reads Victoria's letter.
