Greg Rikaart, who was born on February 26, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York, is an Emmy Award winning actor best known for his portrayal of Kevin Fisher on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless. He grew up in Staten Island, New York and was educated at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He launched his career by appearing in numerous television shows such as
Felicity , Strong Medicine,
Gilmore Girls ,
Dawson's Creek and
The Closer . In 2005, Rikaart won Outstanding Supporting Actor in the Daytime Emmys.
Kevin Fisher is played by Greg Rikaart in the soap opera, The Young and the Restless. Kevin is the son of Tom and Gloria Fisher and the half-brother of Michael Baldwin. He was a mentally unstable man who got involved in internet chatting, where he met teenager Lily Winters. The two started dating and got sexually involved, even if Lily was a lot younger than Kevin. Lily then got infected with chlamydia, a form of STD. Lily's best friend, Colleen, was very vocal about what she thought of the odd relationship between Lily and Kevin and this caused Kevin to lock her up at a restaurant's refrigerator and setting the restaurant on fire.
