She was Blake Shelton's lovable and lovely songstress on The Voice season one, making it all the way to the final two until she was just inched out by winner Javier Colon.

But in watching her new music video, "The Broken Ones," you don't have to have seen Dia Frampton on The Voice to be able to appreciate her talent or the song, both of which are beautiful on their own terms. The message of the song is nice, too -- inspiring without being cheesy. Watch the video below, which is gorgeous and dark. There's even a battle scene!

This cut comes from Dia's forthcoming album, Red, set for release December 6. Definitely a promising first outing from one of our favorite Voice contestants. Though we never doubted her potential. Dia always seemed like more of a full-fledged artist than merely a reality competition contestant.

And speaking of season 1 winner Javier Colon, his album Come Through For You comes out on November 21. Colon's first single, featuring Natasha Bedingfield, "As Long As We Got Love," is available now. No official video yet, but you can listen here.

What do you think of Dia's video, "The Broken Ones"?
