The 16-member teams of The Voice
season 3 are set and now it's time for the Battle Rounds to begin. Each
coach will have one singer making it to the finale, and while there is
an option to steal battle losers from other teams this year, it's never
too early to try to predict who will win.
Showdown: Vote for Your Favorite from Team Xtina>>
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
As you might expect, Xtina's team is chock full of young divas-in-training with only four men (one of whome is part of the duo Beat Frequency). Nearly half of her team is teenage girls, which might be a problem.
So who has what it takes to go all the way and possibly be Christina Aguilera's first champion? Here are my top picks.Frontrunner: De'borah
She's unique in every possible way and stands out in a crowd. She's the kind of original artist this show champions, someone who would never make it to the live voting on American Idol. People will root for her, and not just so they can hear "De'borah wins!" like at the end of MILF Island on 30 Rock.Strong Contenders: Jordan Pruitt and Nelly's Echo
To be honest, Xtina has an amazing crop of singers, many of whom could be strong contenders. There's Celica Westbrook, Nathalie Hernandez, Aquile, Adrianna Louise, Dez Duron, Aquile and Devyn DeLoera, any one of whom I could easily put in this category. But I'm going with established pro Jordan Pruitt, who had a record deal, and the inspiring immigrant story of Nelly's Echo. Whatever happens, I expect the other coaches to be keeping a big eye out on Team Xtina to steal any of the talented singers she cuts. The Unknown: Laura Vivas
Xtina has four young female stars who didn't get full auditions, and while I think they all seemed like lost causes, "fiery Latin singer" Laura Vivas seems to have the best hook.
What do you think of Team Xtina? Do you agree that De'borah has the best chance to win out of the group of 16? Or did I overlook a singer who will steal the show?
