Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture is the son of the great scientist, the late Jonas Venture, and the father of Dean and Hank. He resents his father’s greatness and tries to live up to his father’s name, only to fail many times over. He is the leader of Team Venture, and he is affiliated with his Mexican friend Hector and Swifty, the bodyguard of Jonas Jr. He is a self-centered parent who often relies on his bodyguard Brock to take care of the boys. Because the boys have already died so many times before despite Brock’s efforts, Dr. Venture created clone slugs that can regenerate his children’s bodies.
