Zack and Cody find Arwin fighting back tears while fixing the elevator.  He tries to tell them what's wrong but the elevator doors keep opening and closing.  They figure out that his mom is getting married and moving out so now he doesn't have anyone to live with.  The twins offer to hang out with him but he's a 34-year-old man who just wants his mommy!

Lance stops by to see London, who is so excited about their dinner date that night.  Lance, however, has other plans.  He breaks up with her because he doesn't see them having too much in common.  She tries to offer up reasons why they should stay together: she's rich and beautiful.  He just wants to stay friends and she responds by throwing things at him.

When Arwin won't leave the Martins' place, the twins let their mom know it's because he's so lonely.  Carey offers to let him stay for dinner and Arwin jumps at the opportunity.  He's not done fixing the sink quite yet as somehow, the sink makes the toilet flush.  Arwin decides to hang around a little longer, helping with the dishes.  The twins invite him for a sleepover and thankfully, he already has his pajamas on ... right underneath his uniform.

Arwin wants to be tucked in, get a goodnight kiss, and have a story read to him.  Carey agrees but Arwin makes her do voices for the story.  When he falls asleep, she tries to sneak out but he's up a few minutes later wanting more of the story.  Looks like it's going to be a long night.  The next day, everyone is exhausted but at least Arwin is back at his house, or so they think.  He shows up for another sleepover.

London runs to the lobby in a frenzy to let Moseby know Lance just dumped her.  Moseby's niece, Nia, steps in and offers to take care of it.  She catches Lance to get the real story.  He says he's met someone else named Wanda.  When Nia breaks the news, London comes up with a plan to break the two up.

Arwin begins to overstay his welcome, after being there for three days straight.  Zack and Cody bring him to his house to show him how much he'll love living on his own.  They can turn it into a cool bachelor pad complete with a pool table or air hockey table.  When a girl shows up to his door to ask for sugar, he slams the door in her face.

London dresses up like a mermaid in the lobby to get Lance's attention.  She stages a fall so he'll hold her in his arms.  Nia shows up just in time with Wanda to try to break them up.  The claws come out between the two girls and they end up in a girly fight all over the lobby.  After the fight gets broken up, London and Lance have a moment to talk and London sees just how different they are.

Zack and Cody win the battle to make Arwin's house a bachelor pad.  When the girl comes back to the door with a home cooked meal, he tries to shut the door on her again but the twins invite her in.  Arwin kicks the twins out to have some time alone with Enid.  Looks like the bachelor pad is a success!
