The Real World is many a college co-ed’s dream. You live in one of the sweetest houses, get a trendy job, surround yourself with beautiful people, drink every night, and oh yeah – you get to be on television. In 20 seasons, thousands upon thousands of people have applied but only a little more than 100 have made it onto the show. Some have milked their
Real World fame for all its worth, like Beth from the Los Angeles cast. Some have never been seen or heard from again, like Irene from Seattle. However, no cast member has ever behaved the way
Greg of the Hollywood cast has and we’re still trying to figure out what the heck he’s doing there.
From the minute Greg arrived in
The Real World house, weird things started happening. Underwear disappeared, rocks were left in people’s beds, toothbrushes were dirtied, and there are probably more incidents to come. At first, no one in the house knew what was going on but slowly, fingers began pointing at Greg. He has made no attempt to connect with his housemates. If anything, he instigates fights with each and every one of them. He seems to hate the job he was given and does not make it a priority.
This guy didn’t just try out at some open casting call. He submitted a video to MTV’s site and received more votes than anybody else! He calls females his “associates” and people that he doesn’t feel are on the same level as him “peasants”. He seems to have no ability to form connections with anybody in the house so I’m still trying to figure out how he ended up winning the online contest to grab the last spot this season. I have to at least question whether or not MTV just chose him as the winner since they knew he would stir things up in the house.
I guess it doesn’t matter how he got on the show. From roomies being sent to anger management to being held back by their boyfriends, Greg has stirred up enough drama this season to keep this fan glued to her tv on Wednesday nights.
