The Real Housewives of New York City's third season opener alone left us with plenty to talk about, from the shifting of alliances to the petty issues that have been blown to proportions. Quite entertainingly was the feud between Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps, who both went a little too far by making such a big deal out of something so trivial.
The Real Housewives of New York City: Season 3 Opening Squabbles

Ramona and LuAnn's argument evidently stemmed from LuAnn overhearing Ramona's husband Mario referring to the recently divorced Countess LuAnn as "Countless." It would have probably been hilarious to witness the whole thing but instead, we only saw LuAnn confronting Ramon about Mario's remark during last week's yacht party. I think the issue could have been resolved easily if LuAnn found humor in the situation instead of being overly insensitive about it while Ramona could have let go of the issue and not made the whole thing about her.

Of course, we all know that both Ramona and LuAnn didn't take the drama-less road and as a result, we saw one silly yet amusing squabble that has prompted both New York City housewives to tell the world how they really feel about each other.

"Ramona looks great for her age and I don't doubt that she 'renewed' her skin, but she hasn't refreshed her personality. Just because you say you want to start anew doesn't mean that your personality changes. Ramona is just as crazy as always, just with a new, shorter and blonder hairdo," LuAnn wrote in her blog.

"I thought that Mario was tactless when he said 'Countless' to me," LuAnn added. "I can take a joke, but this was no joke, it was insensitive and cruel...I expected Ramona to say she was sorry that Mario hurt my feelings like any person in their right mind would have done. That would have diffused the situation. Instead it became about her. Whenever Ramona feels insecure, she becomes combative."

Ramona, on the other hand, was more subtle in talking about her feud with LuAnn, opting to move forward with her life.

"Unlike Jill and LuAnn I do not harbor ill will. I express myself and let it go. Life is too short to hold onto grudges, all we have is the present," Ramona said.
