Soon after the wrap of
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 2, Camille Grammer announced
she would not be returning for season 3 due to her wish to keep her children and new relationship more private. Now Queen Camille is changing her tune and saying she will come back next season. And the peasants rejoice!
"I will be a part of production again," Camille told
E! Online. "I guess it was something I couldn't let go of. I really enjoy being with the women and working with the producers. They're like my extended dysfunctional family."
Camille assured fans back in March that she wasn't fired by Bravo execs but that she didn't want to expose her personal life as much.
"I gave them a list of things that I didn't want to shoot: my children and my relationship with my boyfriend," she told
Good Morning America after she announced her departure. "I don't think my ex would have signed off on it, and I don't feel comfortable exposing my kids. I care very much for my family and children and that show tends to take me away from them."
Even after
Yolanda Hadid was brought on as a new housewife, rumors were spreading that Camille was still filming with the
other ladies on the show. Insiders assured
The Huffington Post that Camille was not an official housewife and that she was "no longer on the network's payroll.
"If Camille interacts with her past cast mates in a natural fashion at events they throw, she will turn up on camera," the insider told
The Huffington Post. "However, she has no story line in the season that is now being filmed and doesn't have a production schedule or even know when or where the ladies are filming, unless one of the cast members invites her to attend."
If this is the case, Camille doesn't seem aware of it. She assured E! Online there was plenty of exciting things coming up in the new season.
"There's definitely drama," Camille said. "The girls are bringing it."
Since there has been no official word yet from Bravo (as there often isn't, sometimes until weeks before the new season airs) we'll just have to keep an eye on Queen Camille and keep our fingers crossed for her return.
