After all the hype surrounding Kim's singing career, who would have thought that it will just end up in the gutter? For quite some time now, The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been focusing on the controversial blonde's single "Tardy for the Party" which co-star Kandi helped Kim Britney-ize. In last week's episode alone, we saw how Kandi helped Kim overcome her fear of singing after her futile attempts to pursue a country singing career in the first season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

But it looks like there's more drama involved off-screen on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. has learned that Kim is being sued by her music producer, causing her to take her song "Tardy for the Party" off of iTunes on Monday afternoon.

"This producer Don Vito is suing her for not paying him so she doesn't have the rights," a source told exclusively.

Kim's official website is also surprisingly down, "possibly for similar reason" the source hinted.

Though "Tardy for the Party" had short life span in the airwaves, it did land on the Top 10 iTunes Dance Chart, thanks to Kandi's expertise. If you recall, the song started as a country song but Kandi decided to spice it up by turning it into a pop song, with Kim just hit a few notes. Kim, of course, loved the new version and decided to own the song instead of singing and sharing the spotlight with Atlanta co-star NeNe.

Kim's manager Jonathan Jaxson had no official comment and Don Vito could not be immediately reached.

After releasing "Tardy for the Party," Kim decided to pursue her music career even further by putting out a full album in the very-near future. What will now happen to Kim's singing career? I bet she's not putting the microphone down anytime soon.
