Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were not the only ones who were surprised to learn about Kenya Moore's secret wedding. It turns out her co-star Kandi Burruss learned about the news online just like most people.

"And I had to call her like 'Yo! You're married?' Because I was thinking maybe it was fake," Burruss told E! News. "And then she's like, 'Yeah, I'm really married.'"

On June 10,Moore secretly married 47-year-old businessman Marc Daly on the beach in St. Lucia. The pair met through mutual friend Chef Roble Ali a year ago and didn't start going out until December.

"I have not met him personally but she has talked to me about him since last year, towards the end of the year," Burruss said. "So I knew she had met someone that she had really liked."

It's uncertain whether Daly will be part of the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. As mentioned previously, Moore is reportedly being forced to choose whether or not to feature her marriage with Daly on  the Bravo series or risk losing her starring role. Daly allegedly refuses to be on the show because he has issues with the way RHOA portrays African American men.

"I don't know what he wants, but I'm confident that she's afraid to jeopardize her relationship with what comes with the show, which I understand," Burruss said. "It's a lot of tension. And for somebody that's never been on TV, it's a lot of pressure and it would have to be something for him to get used to. And not everyone is able to get used to it."

Meanwhile, Burruss is looking forward to the return of NeNe Leakes, who officially left the show after season seven. The 49-year-old reality star confirmed on social media that she will be returning for season 10, which will also mark the return of Leakes' former nemesis Kim Zolciak.

"Bringing the blasts from the past back into the future, it's going to be crazy, I'm sure. I'm just hoping that the craziness is not on me," Burruss told Life and Style. "C'mon now, give me a break this year. Hopefully, it won't be so over the top dealing with me."

"Since NeNe's been gone, I was the one that took a lot of the heat, different drama, you know, and I can not wait for her to help relieve some of this," said Burruss, who was a victim of rumors claiming that she and husband Todd Tucker had planned on drugging co-star Porsha Williams and their mutual friend Shamea Morton one night in order to take advantage of them sexually. "Relieve the pressure."
