While Kim Zolciak, formerly of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been talking about the next chapter of her spin-off for months, some of us have started to wonder if it's actually going to happen. Well, for Kim Z. fans, the happy day has arrived. Kim's spin-off, Don't Be Tardy,  premieres Tuesday, April 16.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Don't Be Tardy will document the first year of Kim and Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann's marriage. During the course of the season, their family will grow with the birth of their second son, Kash Kade, and work on the construction of their future dream home.

The show will also focus on Kroy's success as the Falcons make a deep playoff run (coming just short of the Super Bowl, unfortunately) and Kim's parents suing for visitation of their grandchildren after being removed from the Zolciak-Biermann wedding. Here's a sneak peek:

Don't Be Tardy is a follow-up to season one's Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding that documented Kim and Kroy's walk down the aisle. Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York City went through a similar process when she had her wedding to Jason Hoppy filmed for Bethenny Getting Married that turned into a successful multiple-season series of Bethenny Ever After.

Kim isn't the only Atlanta housewife with a spin-off premiering in April. Kandi Burruss (who ironically is the brains behind Kim's single (and spin-off namesake) "Don't Be Tardy for the Party") has The Kandi Factory premiering April 9. As opposed to Kim's day-in-the-life format, Kandi's show is going to focus on her skills as a music producer by helping aspiring artists break into the music industry.
