Mischa Barton
Mischa Barton was born January 24, 1986 in London, but moved to New York while she was five years old. By the time she was nine, she had signed with Ford Models and was playing lead roles in New York Theatre. In 1996, she landed a short-term role on All My Children, but Mischa's big screen debut came in 1997 for Lawn Dogs, and has since appeared in several films, including The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, and Lost and Delirious. Mischa's most notable role to date would be her portrayal of Marissa Cooper on The OC. Marissa Cooper is a rich socialite in Newport Beach, California. She is the daughter of Jimmy Cooper and Julie Cooper-Nichol, and sister to Kaitlin. As part of the "core four", Marissa and Summer were best friends, and had an on again off again relationship with Ryan. Marissa was known to abuse drugs and alcohol and struggled with depression, stemming from constant conflicts with family, classmates and boyfriends. On her way to the airport to catch a flight to Hawaii to work on her dad's boat, Marissa was killed as an ex-boyfriend ran the car her and Ryan were in off a cliff.
