'The Lying Game' Premiere Recap: Best of 'Pilot'
In tonight's premiere episode of The Lying Game, Emma (Alexandra Chando) leaves behind her life in the foster care system to step into that of her long lost identical twin, Sutton (Alexandra Chando). The plan is for Emma to cover for Sutton for a few days so Sutton can track down a lead on their birth mother. But as Emma discovers more about Sutton's life, she realizes there may be more secrets than the identity of their real parents and why she and Sutton were separated in the first place.

Top Five Moments:

5. Run, Emma, run: When Emma's 'pervy' foster brother sets her up with the cops, then offers to cover for her if she sleeps with him, Emma plays a little practice tennis on his face and flees. A smart move, since she learns that her foster family is pressing charges against her for assault and she could not go home even if she wanted to.

4. The boyfriend sitch: It's clear from the start that Sutton is pulling away from Luke (Mitch Ryan), the boyfriend her parents adore, but she doesn't get a chance to fill Emma in on all the details before she hops on the bus to LA. Details like the fact that she may have more than one guy vying for her attention.

3. Emma wins but Sutton loses: Nisha (Sharon Pierre-Louis), a rival of Sutton's, challenges Emma to a show-down on the first day of practice. Fortunately, Sutton's game (tennis) is also Emma's and Emma wins the match but later catches Sutton's supposed boyfriend making out with Nisha.

2. Kiss and tell: Emma is worried about Ethan (Blair Redford), the guy who keeps following her around, and gets an interesting surprise when he kisses her. The surprises continue when he realizes that Emma isn't Sutton and tells her that he is Sutton's real boyfriend and knows all about Sutton's search for their biological parents. Emma eventually tells him who she is and Ethan advises her to continue the charade until Sutton returns.

1. A dark cabin in the woods is never a good omen: Emma arrives at the meeting place but Sutton is a no-show and when Emma returns to Sutton's house, someone has gone through Sutton's things and stolen her laptop. It looks like the twins have gotten in over their heads and the trouble is only just beginning.

On the next episode of The Lying Game, Emma is in for a juggling act as she has to balance concern for her sister's whereabouts with keeping her guard up around the people in Sutton's life who could blow her cover.
