There are so many reasons to hate Spencer Pratt, and what's annoying is that he knows and accepts his villainous nature. Still, he managed to raise the stakes and make us despise him even more. The star of MTV's
The Hills has mouthed off again and is now referring to himself as the next Brad Pitt.
What's odd is, Pitt's fame came effortlessly, as opposed to this attention-starved reality TV celebrity. Spencer once again proves how desperate he is to be noticed, by
penning the book "How to be Famous," in which he aspires to be in the shoes of the
Inglourious Basterds actor.
The tome shows Spencer Pratt marveling at the way Brad Pitt has mastered the art of PR. He was talking about how the superstar handled the whole situation with Jennifer Aniston, back in 2005. There was the infamous affair with Angelina Jolie, and Pratt couldn't let the anecdote pass.
"There literally is not another situation in the history of Hollywood where a man left a woman as beloved as Jennifer Aniston for someone like Angelina Jolie (a home-wrecking head case) and still ended up the good guy," the
Hills star wrote. "We salute you, Mr. Pitt!"
It's also notable that they've previously admitted how much they want to be like the Brangelina power couple. Speidi said they wanted a huge clan of babies and adopt, and we can hear all the sane people shudder. Spencer did slam Angelina in his book, but we can agree how his wife can fill in the head-case description most of the time.
Anyway, "How to be Famous" also features Spencer Pratt opening up about being the bad guy. Thing is, he doesn't mind one bit.
"If I weren't me, I'd hate me," he explained. "When you're the villain, you don't have to worry about how your enemy feels."
That is, unless your enemy's a villain too and would show up to your book signing with a blowtorch. "How to be Famous" is published by Grand Central Publishing, and will be hitting bookshelves in November.
