Tuesday Ratings for May 17: 'Good Wife' Justifies Third Season

CBS' drama The Good Wife proved its worth last night, and reaffirmed to viewers why it's being renewed for a third season. The season finale was up from last week, and beat last season's finale by a hefty margin.

Up 25% from last week's episode, The Good Wife had a respectable 12.44 million viewers for its season finale last night, easily beating last season's finale. And with CBS moving the show to a new night and critics praising it, it's obvious that the show is building up steam. Are you excited for TGW's third season?

NBC's The Voice was down 4% from last week, with 9.87 million viewers. The show has been gradually dipping in ratings since its first couple of episodes.

NBC's The Biggest Loser was up from last week. With an 8% increase, the penultimate episode of the weight-loss competition managed 7.57 million viewers.

FOX's Glee was down slightly this week. It was down 5%, with 8.76 million viewers. The episode garnered attention for featuring the very sad death of Sue Sylvester's older sister.

ABC's Dancing with the Stars continued its upward climb with a 3% increase, and 17.72 million viewers. Last night, Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio was eliminated from the competition.

CBS's NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles both enjoyed fruitful season finales last night. NCIS saw a 9% increase, with 18.09 million viewers. NCIS Los Angeles was up 13%, with 15.37 million viewers.

On the CW, One Tree Hill remained steady with its season finale, with 1.52 million viewers.
