It's just over two weeks until The Good Wife season 4 begins and already we're hearing news that one of the lovely ladies on the show will be getting a boyfriend.

Nope, it's not Alicia but somehow I think that this new man will still end up causing almost as much trouble as the last couple of men Alicia has had in her life. But it's Alicia's daughter, Grace (played by Makenzie Vega) who will be dating someone new.

Grace has definitely given her parents more than a few challenges throughout the seasons. Between campaigning for her father's opponent and striking out to follow her interests in the Bible and religion, I'm sure she's caused more than a few worrisome moments for her mom and dad.

The new love in Grace's life will come into the show in episode 8 of this season and not much is known about him except that his name is Connor and he will apparently go to Grace's private school on a scholarship. Connor has been described as "very handsome, cool, isolated, and angerously charismatic," with "a prep school slacker vibe."

Sounds to me like Connor could end up being quite the bad boy, which makes me feel sorry for poor Alicia. It's not as if she hasn't had enough to worry about in recent months. I think even if this new kid was the perfect student and a polite, upstanding young man she'd probably still be worried about her little girl. But when you add in his rebellious nature, I doubt this is going to go too well.

I also have to wonder what Grace's dad is going to say about all this. Peter may be a politician at heart but I have no doubt he will turn into one protective papa bear if someone like that goes near his little girl. Though we all know that the more Peter and Alicia act like they don't like him, the more Grace is bound to fall for this guy. So it will be interesting to see how long mom and dad will try and keep their cool before ultimately ordering Grace to stop seeing Connor.

Then again, wouldn't it be even more interesting if Connor has this reputation but turns out to be a really sweet kid? That would be a fun twist on a familiar tale.

What do you think of the new love interest in Grace's life? Do you think Connor will be good for her or lead her into lots of trouble?
