There are plenty of exciting additions on TV in the coming weeks so let's get on with today's casting roundup.

The Good Wife is available on Amazon Prime.

Gary Cole returns on The Good Wife: The actor best known for his starring role on Midnight Caller, American Gothic and Crusade will reprise his role as Kurt McVeigh in the March 18 episode of The Good Wife, according to TV Line. The arrival of Kurt, who happens to be Diane Lockhart's (Christine Baranski) crush, coincides with the return of her current suitor, Jack (Bryan Brown).

30 Rock actress to guest star on New Girl: There's a new girl in Nick's (Jake Johnson) life and she comes in the form of Katrina Bowden, who plays Tina Fey's on-screen attractive personal assistant Cerie on 30 Rock. According to Eonline.com , Bowden, who was cast as a possible love interest for Nick,  is slated to appear in the April 3 episode.

Jon Bernthal lands TNT pilot: The actor (spoiler alert!) whose character Shane recently died on  The Walking Dead, has officially joined the cop pilot L.A. Noir. This marks the reunion of Bernthal and producer Frank Darabont, who served as the former show runner of the AMC zombie series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bernthal will spearhead the series as LAPD cop  Joe Teague whose mission is to capture mobster Mickey Cogen. Also joining the show is Milo Ventimiglia, who is best known for his role as Peter on Heroes.

Cierra Ramirez joins the cast of The Secret Life of the American Teenager: The Suite Life actress has been added as a regular and will play a freshman named Kathy. Deadline.com reports that Kathy is six months pregnant and will be mentored by Amy (Shailene Woodley). Additionally, Michael Grant, who has been appearing as Ricky's former foster brother Ethan, has been promoted to series regular.

Marin Ireland heads to The Killing: According to TV Line, the Homeland actress will be playing Detective Holder 's (Joel Kinnaman) sister Liz and will be appearing in a recurring capacity. The addition of Liz, who is described as "a tough, blue collar girl who won't take you-know-what from her brother -- or anybody for that matter," is likely to put the spotlight on  Holder's backstory.

Meet Ryan Phillippe's replacement on Golden Boy: Downton Abbey actor Theo James will be stepping in as the lead on the CBS drama pilot, TV Line reports. James' character, Walter William Clark, is described as an "ambitious police officer who rises quickly within the department -- maybe too quickly -- after breaking up a major drug ring and becoming a hero." True Blood's Kevin Alejandro and Pushing Daisies actress Chi McBride also join the cast.

Spartacus adds Todd Lasance and Simon Merrells: The third season of Spartacus will make room for new characters like Gaius Julius Caesar, an intelligent young man who comes from a respectable lineage, and Marcus Licinius Crassus, the wealthiest man in the Roman Republic who aims to have more power. Lasance, who is most famous for his work on Crownies,  will be playing  Ceasar while Merrells, who is credited for London's Burning and  The Wolfman, will be playing Crassus.
