In season 2 of The Glee Project
, only one contestant will win the opportunity to have a recurring role on Glee
season 4. Each week I'll pick one contestant (who I think has a decent
chance of actually winning) and predict what kind of character or
storyline they might have on Glee
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
First up is The Glee Project
's resident all-star, Blake Jenner. In the first three weeks he has received universal praise from judges Robert Ulrich, Nikki Anders and Zach Woodlee, quickly establishing himself as the one to beat. The fact that he's an actual actor (he guest starred on an episode of ABC Family's Melissa and Joey
) adds to the likelihood that Blake will win a role on Glee
So here's my take on who Blake should play.Role
: Chris Connors, an athletic Texan who transfers to McKinley High for his sophomore year. He quickly earns a place as quarterback for the football team, but he is shy and very private about his personal life.Storyline
: In keeping with Glee tradition, Sam will first overhear Chris singing in the locker room shower and convince him to join the New Directions. In fact, Sam will idolize Chris and treat him like his mentor, even though Chris is younger than Sam is. Eventually through their friendship Sam will learn Chris' big secret: He's a father.
Yes, Chris got a girl pregnant in high school and, sadly, she died, so now he's a single dad raising his baby with the help of his parents, and he moved because he didn't want people to see him as just a teen dad. It's kind of similar to the Jake Jagielski storyline from the early years of One Tree Hill
. Sam will keep his secret, but also help Chris learn that other people will help and support him and not judge him.
Once his secret is out, Tina will find Chris' story particularly moving and try to help him with the baby, ultimately starting to fall for him, causing trouble for her long-distance relationship with Mike Chang.
What do you think Blake's role on Glee
should be if he wins The Glee Project
