Occasionally, actors from The Bold and the Beautiful
gather together to spend the day with their fans. On August 25, there will be yet another event, however, this gathering will be extra special as the long-running soap celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Since the show debuted on March 23, 1987 on CBS, the 30-minute soap has reached around 450 million viewers daily. Given its strong worldwide following, executive producer Bradley P. Bell and fan club president Cathy Tomas have organized an affair that would give fans from all over the world the opportunity to meet and greet the stars of The Bold and the Beautiful
The upcoming event will be held at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, located at Universal City, California, and will consist of fun-filled activities, including the meet and greet, photo sessions and autograph signing. In addition, there will be meals, clip reels, a silent auction, other forms of entertainment and special 20th anniversary surprises.
Kicking of the affair is a breakfast from 8am to 11am, which is an intimate feast set at the top of the Sheraton. For $90, fans can dine with select actors, throw in some questions, and get some autographs and pictures with the stars.
From 11am to 5pm, there will be an official luncheon, which costs $150 per person and includes a copy of the four-color glossy coffee table book entitled The Bold and the Beautiful; A Celebration of 20 Years
Aside from the unique dining experience with the actors, the luncheon will also feature a clip reel, various forms of entertainment and a loving tribute to Darlene Conley, who portrayed the fashion industrialist, Sally Spectra, on The Bold and the Beautiful
from 1988 until her death 19 years later.
Meanwhile, Tomas is also organizing a luncheon for fans of The Young and the Restless
on Sunday, August 26 also at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
