Amid the brouhaha from the tumultuous Jason Mesnick-Molly Malaney-Melissa Rycroft love triangle on the most recent season of The Bachelor, there’s at least one couple that’s proving it can work.  People confirms that Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter from the first season of The Bachelorette have welcomed their second child, a girl, on April 3.

"Mom and baby are doing great," says a source close to the couple, adding that Blakesley Grace Sutter weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz., and measured an impressive 19 inches at birth.

Blakesley Grace is the couple’s second child after Max Alston, who was born in July 2007.  Both children adhere to the Sutter tradition of using family names for their children.

Purse designer Trista and firefighter Ryan married on December 2003 in a special televised three-episode special, drawing over 26 million viewers, in what is one of the most widely viewed reality show episodes ever.

"Although we would've been just as happy with a second boy, we are very much looking forward to giving Max a little sister!" Trista said.  "We didn't find out that Max was a boy until he arrived, but decided to spoil the surprise this time."

The couple now lives in Eagle County, Colorado, where Ryan keeps his job as a Vail, Colorado firefighter.  They were rumored to have separated in 2008 but Trista readily denied them. In a previous interview with People, the couple commented that they want one of each kind as far as the gender of their first two kids are concerned.  Trista also said that she is considering her tubes tied after their second child, and will probably adopt a little girl if the baby is another boy.
