Apparently the answer to that question isn't "everyone," because Warner Brothers Interactive and Ludia, Inc. are gearing up to release The Bachelor: The Videogame for Wii and DS.

The game will replicate the reality romance experience that has made The Bachelor a success, right down to the competitive catfights and shirtless romps on the beach.

...Fun?

Clearly, I'm not their target audience, so I'll let Warner Bros.' press release sway you with all the game's compelling features:

Hosted by Chris Harrison, the real-life host of the TV series, players will compete in a collection of fun mini-game date challenges for a shot at romance. Success is measured with every date as players compete to win the attention and ultimately the heart of the Bachelor or Bachelorette. But beware, opponents can sabotage others' dates and prevent them from receiving a rose or ring!

In
The Bachelor: The Videogame, players compete for one of five Bachelors and five Bachelorettes based on real-life Bachelors and Bachelorettes from the TV series. Players can choose from a selection of avatars that best suits their personality. In single player mode, the game is structured like the TV show. It is comprised of multiple "episodes" where the player competes against the game characters for time alone with the Bachelor or Bachelorette.

The press release goes on to explain that, besides a player's all-important abilities to demand the spotlight and inflict coldhearted vengeance at all costs, the mini-games also test skills like memory, speed, observation and precision.

Jason Mesnick, perhaps the most infamous Bachelor yet, is one woo-able character included in the game, despite his recent wedding to Molly Malaney. (Check out Zap2It for a video preview of a game scenario in which the player seduces Bachelor Jason by throwing pillows onto the floor. Very romantic.) Curious fans will just have to buy the game to find out which other Bachelor stars will make a virtual appearance, since the game also allows players to earn points toward "unlock[ing] a brand new Bachelor or Bachelorette to woo!"

No word yet on whether hot tubs and helicopters will get their due recognition in the game, which comes out in July.
