Bachelor fans know that Rachel Lindsay's days as Nick Viall's girlfriend are numbered. The moment that Rachel was announced as The Bachelorette, it was clear that Rachel and Nick were not going to have a happy ending. Yet Bachelor fans are going to have wait at least one more episode to watch how the relationship dissolves. In a recent interview with People however, Rachel did give some teases and explain, in her mind, why the romance didn't work.

Rachel Lindsay on Breakup with Bachelor Star Nick Viall: 'I Was Definitely Heartbroken'>>>

Rachel didn't drop any huge spoilers, though it would be hard to one-up the official spoiler by ABC that she will be the new Bachelorette. According to Rachel, though, she and Nick broke up because he was "looking for something else."

Rachel went on to explain, "I didn't necessarily doubt what we had, I still thought that I could be the one in the end." It sounds like Rachel might be yet another shocking elimination from Nick. Obviously viewers won't be shocked now but Rachel's goodbye could be in the vein of the quick exits from both Danielles and Kristina.

Rachel has no hard feelings for Nick after their break-up. "I've moved on from it," she said. "My biggest thing is, I just want Nick to be happy. If he's found that with someone else, then that makes me happy too."

At this point in The Bachelor, Rachel is one of two girls who hasn't told Nick she loves him. While Raven and Vanessa have been able to survive dropping the L-Bomb, every other lady has been kicked to the curb almost immediately after confessing her feelings. It could be very likely that telling Nick she loves him could be what ultimately sends Rachel home since he is "looking for something else."

So what do you think? What do you believe will be the catalyst for Rachel and Nick breaking up? Do you think Nick made a mistake in letting Rachel go? What or who else could Nick be looking for?
