On the last episode of
The Bachelor, we found out the final three women who will go on to compete for
Jason Mesnick's final rose: interior designer
Jillian, sales representative
Melissa, and department store buyer
Molly. It looked as if Mesnick wasn't exactly enamored with all of Naomi's family's weirdness.
Meanwhile, as the conclusion to this season's
The Bachelor draws nearer and nearer, ABC reports that a special episode entitled
The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Part 2 (following
The Bachelor: After the Final Rose) will look back into the season and at the same time treat fans to a couple of updates: on the happy couple and the women Mesnick didn't choose. Finally, viewers will get to see for themselves whether or not this season really deserves the accolade as the show's “most successful season” in recent years.
The season finale of
The Bachelor, of course, will come first when Mesnick offers his final rose on March 2, a Monday with a two-hour show at 8pm. Immediately following this is a one-hour special
The Bachelor: After the Final Rose at 10pm.
The Bachelor After the Final Rose, Part 2 will air the following day March 3 at 10pm.
Also, on the next episode of
The Bachelor on February 16, Mesnick and the three women travel to the other side of the globe for overnight dates in New Zealand. Regardless of what you think of the suitors left on the series, New Zealand promises to be a romantic adventure, says ABC, “from beautiful mountain excursions to exotic botanical adventures.” And at the end of the trip, as we all know, Mesnick has to make that “heart-wrenching” decision to send one of them packing.
