Many thought that Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney will soon head for splitsville but this Bachelor couple proved their detractors wrong when they officially said "I do" on Saturday. The nuptials, which will be televised on March 8 on ABC, took place at the Terranea Resort on the coast of Rancho Palos Verdes, California where an estimated 300 guests witnessed Malaney walk down the aisle to the song "Over the Rainbow," performed by American Idol's Jason Castro.

"We're really excited for them," former Bachelorette Jillian Harris, who attended Mesnick's wedding with Bachelorette season 5 winner and fiance Ed Swiderski, told People. "They are very 'normal' in one sense, but on the other hand both of us have been through things in terms of the tabloids and drama after our shows were over. "We're so sympathetic to each other's relationships that we're huge supporters of each other."

Just like Jillian Harris, Jason Mesnick endured his share of controversy during and after his stint on The Bachelor season 13. Critics bashed Mesnick for proposing to Bachelor winner Melissa Rycroft during his final Rose Ceremony before dumping her on national TV to be with Malaney during the After the Final Rose special.

After surviving the long distance relationship, Malaney eventually moved in with Mesnick in Seattle and then got engaged a month later. According to People, the Bachelor couple plans to continue living in Seattle after a tropical honeymoon.
