In a real sleeper-cell move, The Celebrity Apprentice
has somehow become my favorite, unmissable TV show of the season. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though. Gary Busey's brain alone is enough to entertain me forever. Then, throw in Lil Jon, La Toya Jackson, Nene Leaks and Meat Loaf, and I'll gleefully watch them do anything, because it's bound to be insane. It just so happens they're using than insanity to earn money for charity!
Next week, it's the confrontation we've all been waiting for (since we found out it was happening last week): The Meat Loaf vs. Gary Busey Battle.
And boy oh boy, it's even more intense than we thought. Check out these clips from the showdown -- or rather, from Meat Loaf's seemingly spontaneous scream-fest over a bunch of sponges.Plus:
More clips from Sunday night's art auction episode, including La Toya Jackson's special donation of a signed Michael shirt, Lil Jon and Mark McGrath's recon mission, a glimpse at the women's sad attempts at artwork, and John Rich's richy-rich project management strategy.
Screaming about sponges: "Meat Loaf Melts Down."
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
He's right. He is now, officially, the LAST person I want to f*** with. Watch Meat Loaf go OFF! (Also, note how John Rich says, "Calm down there, Meat!" Meat.
Love it.)John Rich earns his last name: "Big Money."
If you don't use your celebrity to get buckets of charity money out of your rich friends, you're "all hat and no cattle" in John Rich's book. I officially love this guy. Meanwhile: What's wrong with Jose Canseco? He says it's "impossible" for him to bring in a donation. Did all his big-money baseball friends blacklist him? Losing sucks. And so does their art: "Nerve Wracking."
The women are disheartened by their triple loss record, and can't seem to energize, even when Donald Jr. reminds them it's all for charity. C'mon, girls! Paint out the sadness and snap out of it!Lil Jon and Mark McGrath on recon: "Empty Gallery."
Just a couple hours before their art exhibits are supposed to open, Jon and Mark pay a visit to Team A.S.A.P.'s gallery, and are happily surprised with what they find: Nothing
.Maybe a Michael memento can help change the tide: "La Toya's Contribution."
La Toya wants to help project manager Marlee Matlin raise money for her charity, so she pulls out the signed special Michael shirt that she happens to keep in her purse at all times. So sweet!
Find out who wins the high roller art auction, and whether Gary Busey ends up in the hospital at the hands of Meat Loaf, when The Celebrity Apprentice
airs Sunday at 9pm on NBC.(Image and videos courtesy of NBC)
