Last week on The Celebrity Apprentice, Melissa Rivers clashed with Brande Roderick and Annie Duke. Joan Rivers attacked Annie Duke in order to stick up for Melissa. On the second task, Herschel Walker lost for Kotu and was fired.
This week on The Celebrity Apprentice, Athena watches as Clint Black refuses to hug Herschel Walker as he leaves. Jesse James notes that Clint's playing the game by being a jerk. Or maybe he's just a jerk. Jesse James goes to his charity, Long Beach Education Foundation to give them his check. He actually comes into the auto shop and works with the kids. Jesse makes a good point when he says that it's his neighborhood and you can't fix the world's problems until you fix the problems right on your doorstep first.
Donald Trump meets the constants and gives Jesse James to Kotu. Melissa Rivers gets upset that she's left with just Brande and Annie. They're at the NBA store on 5th Ave. Donald introduces Brad and Doug from Right Guard. They have to make a 4 page print ad for Right Guard Fast Break. It'll need to include some NBA star called David Lee. Brande Roderick and Clint Black step up to be project manager.
On Athena, the ladies get personalized jerseys from Right Guard. Melissa Rivers makes a suggestion and Annie and Brande just answer in silence. She starts to get really frustrated. They decide to go with Annie's idea with "All I need to wear is Right Guard." The executives come by and they seem okay with the idea. Annie takes over in the meeting and starts to talk over Melissa Rivers. Melissa just sits there silently fuming.
On Kotu, they ask the executives about the product. They just try to figure out some sort of angle. Jesse James gets really upset with Clint Black because he always pretends like he knows what he's doing.
Annie and Brande control the entire project. They want to tell a story about David Lee's 24 hours with Right Guard. Annie Duke asks Brande Roderick if it'll be okay with her to go with their idea. Melissa Rivers claims that Annie is just manipulating Brande.
Joan Rivers says that this is a difficult task for her because she's not athletic. That's funny. Think about it. Why does that matter? Joan Rivers suggests that their ad should be tons of black people. She's getting more and more ridiculous. Jesse James comes up with an idea to play up Lee's small town roots. Clint Black shoots him down but has none of his own. Jesse gets mad and just shuts down.
Annie Duke meets with Bob Scott. Annie Duke says she knows David Lee. After Annie calls Brande, Melissa confronts Brande and tells her that the two of them are trying to get rid of her. Brande says she's never said anything bad about her but Melissa tells her that's how she feels. Brande gets confused and says that she had nothing against Melissa but now she's annoyed by her.
Clint tells Jesse that he can go shoot the shots of the New York skyline. Clint Black comes up with an idea to have David Lee resting comfortably with his girlfriend after a long day. Clint says he took the "best part" of Jesse's idea. Ivanka shows up to check on things. Joan says Clint's listening a bit more. Clint notes that Jesse might throw him under the bus. Jesse, in the van trying to get the picture, says he knows they're going to lose.
Melissa Rivers works closely with the photographer to get the shot. She says that she's just keeping her head down and working hard. Brande Roderick puts herself in the picture. Brande tells Annie Duke that Melissa thought they were conspiring against her. Annie says she doesn't need to conspire against her, she does it by herself.
