Derek Arteta, 34 "The Risktaker" Los Angeles, CA Movie Studio Vice President Derek grew up in Covina, CA and attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in psychology and an emphasis in business administration. He also attended the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco where he graduated cum laude as well. Currently, he is the vice president of business and legal affairs for a movie studio where he negotiates deals and provides legal counsel. He is a contestant on The Apprentice Season 6 where he says he should be the next Apprentice because "I'm not afraid to take risks and make my voice heard, and while I generally respect boundaries, I'm never afraid to overstep them for the sake of advancement of a good idea."
