The Celebrity Apprentice premieres Sunday, February 19, and the first challenge will pit the two teams of male and female celebrities against each other to use their star power to sell sandwiches.
So of course, right off the bat, "star power" becomes a point of tension for the ladies -- especially Aubrey O'Day, who is annoyed that Lisa Lampanelli thinks Teresa Giudice and Cheryl Tiegs could be more recognizable than a former member of a girl group that was formed on a reality show
and broke up four years ago.
Doesn't she know that Aubrey has the most Twitter followers* of all the women there?! *But not really. At the time of this article,
Teresa Giudice has about 30,000+ more Twitter followers than
Aubrey O'Day. Back to the drawing board with you, Aubrey!
Meanwhile, it's all respect, love and ab-miration over on the men's side, as Lou Ferrigno shows off his still very
Hulk-like physique for
Star Trek icon George Takei and Twisted Sister's Dee Snider:
Due to "a tragic accident," the men will start with a man down, but it looks like their sense of camaraderie could still give them an edge over the ladies. In the premiere challenge, NBC says that "fundraising on both teams sets new records," and lots of special guests will stop by the sandwich shops, including Wyclef Jean, Russell Simmons, Carol Alt and Andy Cohen.
The Celebrity Apprentice premieres its first two-hour episode on February 19 at 9pm on NBC.
