Oh, yes.  The Texas beauties.  You always need the token good-looking duo of twenty-something ladies for The Amazing Race.  It is a never-fail proposition.  CBS knows well and good the merits of having requisite eye candy on hand for their television shows.  After all, this is the network that has put Ghost Whisperer on the air for multiple seasons.  Lately, the token attractive lady teams have been quite likable, which is always a plus.  Unfortunately, an all-female team has never won The Amazing Race.  It's a damn shame.  Can Kelly and Christy, best friends from Texas, be the first?  In our continuing coverage of every single team on The Amazing Race 13, I present to you Kelly and Christy. 

Occupations: Kelly is a Sales Representative in Houston, Texas.  Christy is a Business Developer in Austin, Texas. 

Recent Team They're Similar To:  For optimism's sake, let's go with Dustin and Kandace, who were the best all-female team in the history of The Amazing Race. 

Relationship: Best friends

Chances to Win:  If history is a good indication, the chances are abysmally low.  However, the trend of all-female teams never winning has to end at some point.  If it happens this season, Kelly and Christy are the best bets to do it.  You can always hope. 

Initial Thoughts:  Kelly and Christy, as you can see by the video below, seem to be fairly enjoyable personalities.  They have that Texas charm.  They are also very, very good friends.  As they said, as close as you can be without being related.  They talk about being very friendly, being very persuasive.  They say they usually get what they want, and that they are conniving when they need to be.  And fearless.  It all seems like a good recipe for the first all-female team to win The Amazing Race.
